In Sub-Saharan Africa, millions of individuals suffer from lack of clean water.

This situation especially burdens women and children in their long and hard trek to fetch their family’s daily water.

One such journey usually takes 2 to 6 KM every day, robbing them off their time that can be spent in livelihood activities for women and studies for school aged children.

DONATE FOR SCHOOL WELLS AND TOILETS

According to UNICEF On average, in the East and Southern Africa Region:
53% of schools have access to adequate water supply;
45% of schools have access to adequate sanitation;
13% of schools have access to hand washing facilities.

Approximately one-in-three primary schools do not have toilets in Sub-Saharan Africa—one contributing factor to the absence of girls from school.
